After working as first grade teacher for three years, Ryan knew her passion was working with children individually and in small groups. Shortly after, Ryan went back to school to become a Speech Pathologist and discovered her true calling.
Since graduating, Ryan has worked in the private clinic, public school, and in-home settings. Ryan has a broad range of experience working with children but specializes in Early Intervention. In addition, Ryan is trained in incorporating augmentative and alternative devices (i.e. iPads) into therapy as well as your child's everyday life.
Ryan believes in a functional therapy approach, building skills that will help decrease frustrations that you and your child encounter throughout your day. Ryan strongly believes in providing a naturalistic therapy approach as well as a strong emphasis on parent education for faster and more effective results.
Most recently, Ryan and her team navigating new waters and introduced Routine Based Intervention into the Tele-Practice setting. Ryan and her team now offer Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy to families in rural areas using this innovative approach.
